The HappeninginCLT mascot, Sup Dawg, is a Humane SocietyAlum (adopted 5 years ago and loved every day since) so we are featuring upcoming events sponsored by The Humane Society Charlotte.
This week the Humane Society is bringing you:
- Monkey Around For Pets – Friday, April 25th from 4-8pm at Monkey Joe’s locations in Pineville, Matthews, and The University. 20% of admission costs and concessions go back to HSC
- Prohibition’s Paws for The Cause – Saturday, April 26th from 8-11pm. Enjoy a beverage at one of Uptown’s newest bars and help the animals at the same time. $1 from the sale of each drink will go back to HSC
- YAP Anniversary Party – Tuesday, April 29th from 6-8pm at VBGB (at the NC Music Factory). Celebrate the 1 year anniversary of HSC Young Affiliated Professionals (Animal Lovers 25-25). Happy Hour Drink Specials, Giveaways and Goodie Bags. Bonus – the Patio is PET FRIENDLY!
- Cinco De Mayo – Saturday, May 3rd at Vida Cantina, All Day. Huge Cinco De Mayo party with a portion of proceeds going to HSC. Drink Specials and a Bar Crawl at 7pm ($5 from the sale of every bar crawl ticket goes back to HSC). Raffle Tickets, Chihuahua races, Mariachi Band, a pet friendly patio and MORE!!
- Pawz Party – Sunday, May 4th from 12:30 -4:30pm at Barks, Bones & Biscuits Bakery (11300-B Lawyers Road). Dog Costume Contest, Raffles, Dog Nail Clipping, Face Painting, and food. Dog Food Drive & Donation for Local Shelters.
